Wine of the Week: Taurasi Radici 2000 Mastroberardino

For those of you who read the Vino e-letter, you know that Taurasi is one of our favorite wines. As Charles noted in his latest wine opinion, these wines are made to last and will only get better with time. Mastroberardino only makes Taurasi in exceptionally good vintages. The 2000 harvest followed a hot summer throughout Italy and so the fruit was very ripe. While we are certain that this wine has many many years (indeed, decades) ahead of it, the warmer temperatures of 2000 made for a wine that is already drinking very well. Don't miss this opportunity to taste this wine for the first time at Vino.

Send an email to contact@vinosite.com to order (supplies are limited).

Wine Opinion: Happy (belated) Fourth of July

Charles is taking a vacation from his weekly Wine Opinion but would like wish his readers a belated but happy Fourth of July.

He hopes to see you at the tastings on Thursday and Friday.

Q: What could be better than tasting the new vintage of Taurasi?

A: Tasting it with Charles, who has been a fan and followed this wine since the 1968 vintage.

Charles would love to hear from you. Please email your questions or comments to charles@vinosite.com.
