Thalvin - Alain Graillot "Syrocco" Syrah 2009 (Zenata, Morocco)

“Syrocco” is a collaboration between Rhone Valley winemaker Alain Graillot and Thalvin, a Moroccan wine estate. The wine is made from 100% Syrah sourced from young vines grown primarily around the winery, which is located near the town of Ben Slimane, between Rabat and Casablanca. Ben Slimane is known as “The Green City” for its complete absence of polluting industries. Employing natural methods in the vineyard and traditional techniques in the cellar, this wine is a great example of Syrah from the Maghreb.
