Founded in by Don Bernardo C. Weinert in 1975, Bodega y Cavas de Weinert is located in Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza. "Carrascal" is named after the clay amphoras tha twere produced in Mendoza during the 19th Century and is a nod to the focus on traditional methods used by the winery since it's first release in 1977. A blend of 45% Malbec, 35% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine spends up to 30 months in large French Cask, giving it a harmonious balance between the fruit and its complex structure on the palate.
