S. Maria al Monte Amaro

A product of the Valle d'Aosta, Santa Maria al Monte is a digestivo that uses bitter orange peel and ginseng among its flavoring agents. It has a moderately medicinal nose with a strong menthol character. It is relatively high in alcohol at 40% and packs a bracing, bitter punch going down.
