Ricci Curbastro Franciacorta Brut NV (Lombardia, Italy)

Though wine was made in Capriolo (near Brescia in Lombardy) as far back as the 1800s, the Ricci Curbastro winery was founded by Gualberto Ricci Curbastro in 1967, the same year Franciacorta achieved D.O.C. status. Ricci Curbastro cultivates 27 hectares of Chardonnay, Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco vines, which Riccardo and enologist Alberto Musatti source to produce a fresh and elegant take on this prestigious northern sparkler.
